Kevin, aka Kevy, aka Kev is a happy-go-lucky, curious and cautious pup. He's been growing and thriving in a foster home after being surrendered to a shelter at only 5 weeks old. Kev is doing a great job learning all dog things and how to be brave from the older canines in the home. His hazelnut eyes and expressive face gets him lots of human love and attention. He's a very "squishy" boy so it's a lot of fun petting that little pumpkin. Well, he's not so little anymore weighing in at 18pds at 12 weeks and we estimate he will be a BIG boy in adulthood. Kev is well on his way to being house trained with frequent and regular potty breaks. He is kennel trained spending up to 4 hours at a time during the day keeping the kennel dry and sleeps all through the night. Kev has the best paws for holding hands and walks with a wiggle. He is eager to play and loves outside time. At this time a leash is very scary to him but he's a smart boy and will learn that the leash means fun and exploration. We do ask that applicants have a fenced yard and we think he will do best with another canine in the home to continue building his socialization and canine confidence.

Adoption Fee: $200
TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL.
Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed. Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
