Don’t let looks deceive you. Hank may look like a junkyard dog, but he is really more of a couch potato. Hank is around 7 years old. He is house trained, knows basic commands, and is kennel trained. Hank is a big boy so he needs a sturdy kennel (no wire crates). Hank likes to go on walks and play with stuffed toys, but most of all Hank likes to hang out with his people. He likes to be with his people and will follow you around the house. If left alone Hank is content to sprawl out of the floor and wait. Hank is a gentle giant. He is good around kids, dogs (big and small) and cats. Hank can be territorial when it comes to food and attention and may try to keep others away, but he does not get aggressive.

Adoption Fee: $175

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
