Meet Nixa! This sweet young girl is good with other dogs and kids. She doesn't even seem to mind cats! She is almost house broken, just needs a little work when she goes to a new environment. She plays well with sturdy chew toys and keeps herself busy with those in her crate. She keeps her crate clean and is generally quiet while crated. She plays well with all other dogs and is gentle around kids. She loves to snuggle on the couch. She is so sweet and would make a wonderful addition to any home. Please consider adopting Nixa!

Adoption Fee: $175

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
