This tiny bundle of love is happiest lying next to her person on the couch. Pru is about 10 years old and is the kindest, most loving little dog. She is housetrained, kennel trained, good with other dogs, good with strangers, and good with cats. She loves to be in the company of her person. She is not destructive and doesn’t get into mischief. She has trouble walking up and down stairs, so her person needs to be aware of that, though she doesn’t mind being carried! She is a good car passenger and walks well on a leash. She is spayed, microchipped, and currently on heartworm prevention. She has recently had a dental and lost several teeth, so she might be happy with either soft dry food or wet food.

Adoption Fee: $175

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
