Stitch has all the qualities you're looking for in a new dog. He is potty trained, kennel trained, playful, and gets along well with other dogs. You can take him to a dog park and he walks well on a leash. He knows sit, lay down, and come and will enthusiastically do them when asked. He's a great listener. He likes to be with his people and has a nice, deep bark for when he's protecting his home (but saves it for important moments - he doesn't bark all the time). He's a morning person and will brighten all your days because he's a really silly dude. Stitch has the perfect energy level - down to play but also interested in a nap. He doesn't counter surf, but keep the stuffies safe and away from him because he loves chewing. Bones and antlers are his favorite, and he'll stick to his own appropriate toys. He has no trouble with thunderstorms. Give this guy a chance!  He is sometimes concerned when meeting new people, but does warm to them over time. Once you are "his people" h e is super lovable and affectionate. He's still searching for his forever family.

Adoption Fee: $175

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
