Aloha, Ohana! I see you scrolling through these endless pages of cute ‘ilios (Hawaiian for doggies) looking for a new forever loving home and I want to let you know that your search needs to end RIGHT HERE, if you are looking for the perfect “snuggle bunny”. I don’t think there is a Hawaiian word for that, but feel free to correct me, if I am wrong. My brother, Stitch, sure would, if that is the case!
Let me cut to the chase and introduce myself to you. I’m Lilo and I am about as precious of a Polynesian Princess as you could ever find in these parts of landlocked Missouri. I am 10 weeks old (dob 4/20/22) and a wee 10 lbs now, subject to change to probably 40-50 lbs much later? As far as my heritage, the good Samaritans that saved us when our momma was dumped on their property are guessing pointer mix, but really ,when it comes to “happily ever afters” with family/friends, does it really matter? As you can imagine, since I am still a “toddler”, I have lots of learning to do, but I am very smart and a fast study. So let’s get to crackin’ those books, whatdya say?
I can hardly wait to find my forever person/family, because I am happiest when I am able to spend quality time with my humans and other ilios. Did I mention you are going to be bilingual once you get through this unique personal ad? The home that I am going to thrive in is one that is filled with love, patience and extra time to ensure that I get the training and guidance needed to be a great, fulfilled member of my family and pack. Could you possibly be that perfect fit for me? If so, please fill out an adoption application and let’s talk soon! In the meantime, much Mahalo to you for taking the time to read about me and for considering ADOPTION and RESCUE. It truly is saving lives every single day. Malama pono (take care, be well)!
