Karter is a sweet, happy, loves-to-be-around you or in your lap and confident fella. We are unsure of his mixed breed heritage. He has not had a lot of exposure to toys but he’ll chase a ball though he’s not sure how to play with it quite yet. Karter and his brother Kyce were from a litter of eight so they learned to use each other as a toy and playmate. He loves to go boldly toward new experiences; followed the foster pushing the electric mower through the whole yard! All training is “puppy in training” at this moment in his young life. He is already showing good kenneling skills for treats and eliminating outside to keep his kennel dry up to three hours at a time. Karter has the most charming scrunch-face and will make a sweet addition to an active, patient and fun family.

Approximate Birthdate:  2/18/2022

Adoption Fee: $300

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a  two week trial  .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
