Meet Frank The Tank, Wilber the Pig, The Easter Bunny, Donnie Darko …or you can just call him “Frank”. Frank was abandoned in a parking lot and thankfully a good Samaritan picked him up and looked for a rescue group to help. Frank is currently in a foster home, and looking for his forever family. Frank is around 12-13 weeks old, is neutered, and up to date on all vaccinations.
Frank is an active, lovable puppy, and we think he’s a lab/husky mix based on the opinions of the vets who have seen him, and his crystal blue eyes and curvy tail. Speaking of eyes, one of Frank’s eyes is small, which is called Microphthalmia. While his vision could be impaired out of that eye, it doesn’t seem to slow him down at all. There is no issue to resolve, its just a tiny eye. We told Frank we think he is handsome, even with his goofy eye. He hopes you think so too. Just recently, his ears are starting to stand up, and with these huge ears like a bunny, no one seems to notice that tiny eye anymore
Frank would really like a home with another dog to play with. His foster home has other dogs that are not very friendly, so he has to take turns to go outside. When he’s outside, he’s in heaven! Frank could run around the yard and lay in the sun all day if you let him. But he is also a cuddlebug and loves to curl up on the couch next to his person for a snooze. Frank is learning potty training and crate training and doing very well. He knows “sit” and “stay” for a treat.
Frank’s foster home has a 4 year old child and dogs and cats. Frank really wants to play with everyone, but the dogs and cats are old and cranky and not in the mood. He is such a happy-go-lucky dude, and deserves a stable, loving home environment that will give him lots of snuggles and show him that he never has to worry about being abandoned again. He is eager to please, loves food and treats and really hopes he can find a doggie brother or sister to show him the ropes. Apply to adopt this piggy…I mean bunny….oops I mean PUPPY!!
