Hello! My name is Diesel and I’m just like my name, a tank. I am a Labrador mix and approximately 10 months old. I came to TARA about a month ago and I’m living the good life with my foster family. I get along with cats and some dogs, but I’m such a silly pup, I need a dog that is tolerant of me and will teach me the proper way to be a dog, so I can be fearful of other dogs. I love kids. I love kids so much, I just can’t help it. Even though I’m going to be a bigger guy, I know to be gentle around small kids. I sit and wait for them to love on me. I love to give hugs and kisses. My ideal family would have kids and a big couch, so we can all share on movie night. It’s okay if the couch isn’t that big, I’ll sit on your lap anyway. I love watching the game on the tv and going for walks in the neighborhood. I promise to keep squirrels out of your yard if you can promise me a spot in your home and heart.

Adoption Fee: $175

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
