This sweet boy was living outside and trying to fend for himself until one day he ran into a service shop meowing for help.  A Good Samaritan there realized he needed some and contacted us!  Thumper's back legs are bent in a way that he "hops" rather than walks, the vet thinks it is either a very old injury or a birth defect. He doesn't seem to be in any pain though and it doesn't slow him down, he gets around just fine and has no issues using the litterbox or getting into his favorite comfy bed.  Thumper is incredibly sweet but still very shy, it must have been so hard for him to survive on the street in his condition! He just needs someone to show him that people are good and that he is safe and loved.

Adoption Fee: $65

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, FIV/FeLV test, and deworming. A two-week trial is included as part of the adoption.

Because we do not know the background of many of our cats, we cannot guarantee exact age or breed.

Adoption centers may not have a volunteer present to open the cat enclosures, and we have foster homes located throughout the KC metro area. Please fill out an application if you'd like to meet this cat.
