Lady is a 5-year-old cute little girl with a strong will to lives. Their previous owner thought she was doing the right thing by leaving her and her sister in a crate outside our office door with a note that they could no longer care for them.

Upon tracking the owner down from the dogs' microchips, we were able to educate the owner on abandonment laws and in exchange we learned that their lives have been filled with much adventure, including surviving hurricane Katrina.

Although Lady doesn't show her true self on first meeting, it doesn't take her long before she's kissing and cuddling with everyone.  She loves to sit in your lap and enjoy hours of love. 

She is trained to a potty pad but is housetrained if taken out on a regular schedule. She would be best in a home with no children under 5 but is good with cats and other dogs, although she prefers her human companions over animals. Will you be her forever home?
