Oso was found running as a stray.  Once his owner was located, we learned they were no longer to care for him through no fault of his.  He's very unsure of new people, but does warm up quickly and has a strong desire to trust and love.  He warms up most quickly to women and children, but with time would also warm up to a new dad.  Oso is completely housetrained and very well-mannered.  He's good with other dogs.  Due to his fearfulness, he does need a home with a very secure yard.  He's not a fence jumper that we're aware of, but when afraid will look for ways to get away.  He'll be a great boy for some lucky family.  And look at his cute little no tail!

Adoption Fee: $150.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a  two week trial  .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
