Hi, guys!  The name's Triton, as in King Triton from The Little Mermaid.  You see, some uncaring folks dumped me around the Liberty Fish Market. I was pretty scared and ran around for days on the train tracks and Old 210 Highway, trying to figure out what was going on and if my people came back, I wanted to be right there. The nice folks at The Fish Market fed me or either I was trolling in their trash dumpster, because a growing boy's got to eat, you know?   Then 2 kinda ok peeps suckered me into this trap, because of ....HOT DOGS...I LOVE THEM :)  and took me home to stay with them for a bit. I didn't know what to think, at first. But I was inside a house, probably for the first time in my life, out of the weather, getting food and a soft bed that I didn't know that I was supposed to lay and sleep on. After a month, I have really calmed down, and get along with Foster Dad and Mom's resident dogs. I may be shy at first (older kids in my new home would be best, prob 8 and over), but when I warm up, you will love me, as much as I love you for giving me the chance at FOREVER that I always deserved. And the cherry on top of all this?   I have the coolest, prettiest eyes!!  Experienced husky pet parents are a huge plus and preferred, if you want to apply to adopt me!

Adoption Fee: $200

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a  two week trial  .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
