Jax is a sweet Aussie Mix. He is a big cuddler and loves getting brushed. He loves to play fetch (especially if the ball has a squeaker!) and tug of war. He’s loves his daily naps but when it’s play time or treats are involved he’ll get the excited shakes. He’s extremely smart and loves to learn new tricks and games. Jax is good with some other dogs with gentle and gradual introductions but would probably prefer to have his humans all to himself. Despite being older Jax still has a ton of energy and would love an active home!

Adoption Fee: $200

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
