Porter is a fun loving, goofy little boy!  He was found as a stray and we're not sure what his life had been like before, but he had to have surgery to remove a bullet fragment from his leg, so we don't think it was great!  In spite of that, he is so loving, playful and happy!

Porter loves to play and is great with all other dogs, large and small.  Some of his favorite times are at the off leash dog park. 

Porter is crate trained and knows a few basic commands.  He is also housetrained, but is most trustworthy when he can be contained if home alone.

Porter is good with women and children, but can be a little leery of new men at first.  He warms up quickly though and would be a great companion for any family!

Adoption Fee: $150.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a  two week trial  .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
