Pipsqueak is the cutest little girl with the cutest little meow! She had a rough start in life, born into a community cat colony, but she made it clear to her caregiver that she wanted to be a pet! Pipsqueak is incredibly loving and just adores being petted. She does startle with loud noises but it doesn't take much to convince her that she's safe from whatever the noise was!

One of Pipsqueak's eyes has been watering and then drying into a brown/red color. She may be a carrier of the feline herpesvirus. Feline herpesvirus is not the same as the human version (and is not transmissible between humans and cats) but much like the virus that causes cold sores in people, it's latent in the body and occasionally reappears, bringing eye discharge and sometimes cold-like symptoms. Feline herpesvirus is very common and the majority of cats don't have complications. When Pipsqueak is comfortable in a stable home, her eye watering is likely to improve.

Adoption Fee: $65

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, FIV/FeLV Combo test, and deworming. A two-week trial is included as part of the adoption.

Because we do not know the background of many of our cats, we cannot guarantee exact age or breed.

Adoption centers may not have a volunteer present to open the cat enclosures, and we have foster homes located throughout the KC metro area. Please fill out an application if you'd like to meet this cat.
