Sheldon and Amy are adorable fluffballs ready for adoption! They were born to a mama cat living outside until she and her kittens were caught in humane traps at the beginning of January. Since they grew up without people, Sheldon and Amy are still getting used to being housecats. They're both timid and easily startled, so they'd do best in a home without young children. They'll let themselves be petted briefly while distracted (like when eating). They're both very playful and wand toys have been helpful in showing them that humans can be fun!

Both Sheldon and Amy have made great progress in their socialization but their journeys aren't over. They need adopters who will be patient and understanding while showing them how great it can be to be a pet!

Adoption Fee: $85 each or $127.50 total for a pair of kittens

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, FIV/FeLV Combo test, and deworming. A two-week trial is included as part of the adoption.

Because we do not know the background of many of our cats, we cannot guarantee exact age or breed.

Adoption centers may not have a volunteer present to open the cat enclosures, and we have foster homes located throughout the KC metro area. Please fill out an application if you'd like to meet this cat.
