Tanner started life as many puppies do, in a happy home with lots of love and attention.  Then, as he got older and bigger things changed and nobody seemed to have time for him anymore.  Eventually he found himself locked away in a small crate in the basement and that became his life.  Tanner didn't understand what he had done to make his family lock him away and stop loving him but we do, nothing!  He is an awesome dog who did not deserve to live in total isolation.  Luckily a family friend got him out of there and brought him to us. 

This is truly one of the nicest dogs you will ever meet.  A gentle giant, he loves everyone, human and canine alike!  Tanner is around 2 years old and weighs about 90-100 pounds.  He is well mannered, housebroken, great with kids and really just an awesome big boy! He can't wait to have a new family that will give him as much love and attention as he has to give in return!

He is one of the most friendly dogs in the shelter, a true lover.
