Hi, my name is Miley Roo. Roo you ask? Yes, for kangaroo because I love to pounce on my toys! I am a perfectly sized, young lab mix, weighing only about 35 pounds. I love being around humans and playing with my foster dog siblings. I love to play fetch with a ball or stick, going on walks, chewing on a bone, and just being around people. Most of all, I love to cuddle with my foster family. My foster Mom found me on a busy 4 lane road in the inner city and saved me from being hit. She has been working with me on my house and people manners. I love people and get so excited to meet them and their dog friends. I can sit on command, wait at the top of the steps, and am mostly house and crate trained.  I've learned a lot in the past couple of months!  I am looking for a home that will be patient with me and continue to teach me. Treats really help me with my training!! I am silly, goofy, and very loving. Just look at these eyes!

Adoption Fee: $150.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a  two week trial  .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
