Hi, my name is Pepita!  I'm a 6 year old, female chihuahua who is looking for a family to call my own. My original owner passed away and I found myself with my two sisters (Cholula and Kali) at animal control.  My foster parents saw me on Facebook and knew they had to save us.  I'm a sweet-tempered, social girl who loves being with my people.  Some of my favorite pastimes are curling up with my blanket and napping, playing with my friends, and getting loved on.  I'm fully potty trained.  I would love to have a family with another dog to play with and snuggle.  I would do best in a home without small children as I'm nervous around them.  If you're looking for a laidback, friendly girl, I'm the one!

Adoption Fee: $150.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a  two week trial  .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
