This tiny little dog was running the streets and she is immensely grateful that we happened to spot her and pick her up. She was in horrendous condition, very matted and covered in filth, but a thorough grooming took care of that and she is now a very pretty girl. We have tried everything possible to locate her owner because it is quite apparent that she is used to living in a house, but have had no success. Petunia is presently in a foster home where she gets along quite well with the other dogs and cats, but it is obvious that she prefers the company of humans.

She is very sweet and affectionate, completely housebroken and she wouldn't dream of chewing on anything. A doggie playmate close to her own size and/or a cat or two would be okay, but she will need a home without small children. Ideally, she would prefer to be someone's baby and would thrive in a home where she will be loved and pampered.
