Max is a very loving guy who brings so much joy to his humans.  He's an older guy who is nearly completely blind.  He can see some light and dark, but that is all.  He is accustomed to living with other dogs who do help him understand his environment better, but he would also be okay as an only pet so long as his family was patient in helping him learn his way around.  Max is good with other dogs, but would do best in a cat free home.

Adoption Fee: $150.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a  two week trial  .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
