Hello! My name is Rowen! I'm a dog with a lot of heart and personality in a perfect little package! Not too big and not too small but a short and sturdy 35lb cutie! In my previous home I did live with younger children and I have lived with different sized dogs successfully. My foster family says that I have a rather big personality and that not all other dogs appreciate my outgoing ways. If other dogs are in the house, I should meet them ahead of time, just to make sure that they don't think I'm too outgoing for them. But, to be honest, I'd be okay as the only dog as well. I love my people, and am very loyal to them. I love nothing more than to be snuggled up right next to them on the couch. I do love to play with toys and dart around the yard being silly then I'm ready to curl up for a good snuggle. My foster mom said I should mention that despite my outgoing personality, I can be a little nervous with new situations and when I get nervous, I tend to bark. I do settle down pretty quickly, if the people I trust talk to me and reassure me. I feel bad that my bark is so loud and sounds scary, I don't mean to be- my nerves just get the better of me sometimes.  My foster momma says it's nothing to be too concerned about, the right family will find me and help me learn I have no reason to be nervous.  Some other really great things about me- I am housebroken, kennel trained, and know my basic commands like sit, down, and off. I walk nicely on a leash, and don't mind a car ride. My foster family will agree that I really am a good girl, and all I really need is a great family of my own. Are you my perfect family? Adoption Fee: $150.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a  two week trial  .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
