Josie Jo is a beautiful brown tabby in need of some TLC. She's a timid cat and would probably be happiest in an easy-going home with another cat to help her feel comfortable. In her foster home, shy Josie Jo has taken cues from the resident felines with every step she's taken - from following them onto coveted ground (the couch and bed) to letting her foster mom pet her without reservation. Now that Josie Jo has learned to trust us humans, it's time for her to find a home of her own.

Josie Jo started life out on the streets as a teenage mom after likely being born there herself. A family in the neighborhood had been keeping an eye on Josie Jo and trying to trap her, and she had successfully eluded capture until she was pregnant with her third litter last summer. Her kittens were born inside, and now Josie Jo has learned to enjoy the wonders of the great indoors as well! Patience and time will pay off handsomely with this sweet girl.

Adoption Fee: $65

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, FIV/FeLV Combo test, and deworming. A two-week trial is included as part of the adoption.

Because we do not know the background of many of our cats, we cannot guarantee exact age or breed.

Adoption centers may not have a volunteer present to open the cat enclosures, and we have foster homes located throughout the KC metro area. Please fill out an application if you'd like to meet this cat.
