Meet Tyson the Terrier! This sweet guy was found as a stray and brought to our shelter because the finder was unable to keep him or locate his owner. Tyson was just brought in today so he will NOT be available for adoption until 03.31.2017. Since Tyson is very new to the shelter, he has not been tested with other animals and it is not known how he does with children. He is NOT neutered, does not have a current rabies vaccine and his heartworm status is unknown. Tyson has been sweet but very shy and nervous with the staff. We expect him to open up within the next few days after he's had a chance to settle in. Tyson will be given his canine distemper and bordetella vaccinations along with a simple dewormer and flea and tick medication.
Tyson will have an adoption fee of $80 which will cover the cost of his neuter, vaccinations given here at the shelter, dewormer and flea and tick treatment. This fee does NOT cover the cost of his rabies vaccine or heartworm test, these additional fees are paid by the adopter at time of pick up directly to the vet clinic.
If you are interested in giving Tyson a new forever home, please contact the shelter staff or stop by to visit with the little guy. To be considered for his adoption, please follow this link for an application http://mo-liberty2.civicplus.com/DocumentCenter/Home/View/193
