Meet Debo! This handsome guy was found running loose and brought to our shelter. His owner was located but they have not stepped forward to redeem him and only have 3 more days to do so. Debo will be available for adoption starting 03.20.2017. Debo is a young intact male pit bull who has not been tested with other animals yet but that information can be provided upon request. Debo has been very sweet with the staff but he has a lot of energy and isn't able to burn it all off being here at the shelter so he's having some difficulties adjusting to the shelter environment. He has been given his canine distemper and bordetella vaccinations, a dewormer and flea and tick medications. He does NOT have a current rabies vaccine and his heartworm status is unknown.
Please keep in mind, Debo is considered to be a pit bull breed. Please check your local legislation for possible breed restrictions before considering adoption. The mission of the Liberty Animal Shelter is to find loving, permanent homes for our pets. If you live in a breed-restricted area, you can check with your city's animal control or any vet in your city for a breed evaluation before adopting.
Debo will have an adoption fee of $80 with an approved adoption application. This fee will cover the cost of his neuter, distemper and bordetella vaccinations,dewormer and flea and tick treatment. This fee does NOT cover the cost of his rabies vaccine or heartworm test, these additional fees are paid by the adopter directly to the vet clinic at time of pick up.
