Ellie Mae was found as a neighborhood stray that took weeks to catch because of her shyness to new people, but now she is settled into domestic life with her foster parents and furry siblings and is doing just great.  She is such a sweet gal.  She loves nice slow walks, laying in the yard and just observing things, and of course begin petted and loved.  She is a great mellow companion to have.  She does well with dogs and cats.  She may prefer animals that are not too energetic just because she is so laid back.  She may be shy around people at first but warms up pretty quickly.  If you like large fluffy mellow dogs, Ellie may be your girl!

Adoption Fee: $150.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a  two week trial  .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
