Lyle is a friendly and affectionate cat who has quickly become a TARA volunteer favorite! He was rescued from a hoarding situation and appears thankful to every human he meets. He takes changes in stride and is incredibly easy going. He loves quietly chatting, giving head bonks, and being loved on!

When Lyle was rescued, he was badly in need of a vet visit and some TLC. After his dental surgery, neuter, treatment for a dental infection and a skin infection, this guy is finally ready for his forever home! The vet uncovered what looks like early kidney disease, which she feels can easily be kept in line with meat-based cat food that's low in phosphorus. His repeat labs are normal, so the change in diet seems to be doing the trick!

Lyle would make a wonderful addition to any family who would love a super friendly, affectionate, social, and quite handsome kitty.  He generally gets along with cats and dogs and likes walking on a leash!

Adoption Fee:  $65

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, FIV/FeLV Combo test, and deworming. A two-week trial is included as part of the adoption.

Because we do not know the background of many of our cats, we cannot guarantee exact age or breed.

Adoption centers may not have a volunteer present to open the cat enclosures, and we have foster homes located throughout the KC metro area. Please fill out an application if you'd like to meet this cat.
