Gigi spent the first part of her life on a chain outside, lonely, hungry and subjected to the harshest elements.  The day she was relinquished it was way below freezing, snowing and she was huddled up in her doghouse terrified. This sweet little girl did not deserve this kind of life and we will make sure from now on she is warm, fed, loved and pampered! Gigi is now in a foster home and learning how to be a real dog.  She is incredibly sweet and so thankful for her new life!  Gigi does well with other dogs although she can be a little scared of them at first.  She loves people and is a huge snuggler! GiGi is 1-2 years old and weighs about 25 pounds (she is still underweight though).  She deserves a family that will love and cherish her for the rest of her life!

Adoption Fee: $150

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
