Saffron was dumped at Animal Control where she faced certain death before we stepped in. She was a very sick girl when we picked her up, but is now in a foster home where she is putting on weight and getting over pneumonia. Why anyone would send a dog like her to death row is inconceivable. This girl is as sweet and loving as a dog can be; she is so good-natured that the cats can use her as an obstacle course and she won't bat an eye. She loves the other dogs too, but her real focus is people - she can't seem to get enough affection, which is most likely due to the neglect she endured in her previous home.
Saffron goes to the door and waits until someone lets her out to potty, she never makes a mess or destroys anything in the house and is in all respects a perfect dog - the kind of dog you can leave at home all day without ever having to worry about anything being amiss and her size would scare off any burglars or undesirable visitors. Because of her sweet and loving disposition, she is going to be a wonderful pet for a family with children, cats and other dogs.
