Pippy will not be available until August 15 when she has finished nursing her puppy and been spayed.

Pippy came to us from a terrible situation in rural MO.  She had been dumped on a farm about 5 years ago and was allowed to continuously reproduce.  Though the farm owners were nice enough to feed her and let her take shelter in their barn, they weren't able to get any additional medical care for her.  When we took her into our program, she was nursing a very young pup and had a huge lump on her face from an abscessed tooth.  She was also completely covered in fleas and ticks.  We were able to get her into the vet to get the tooth removed and she is now flea and tick free.  She still needs to put on some weight, but her future is looking much brighter!  Although this girl gets scared in new situations, she is very loving and sweet!  Once she is done raising her last pup, we know that she will flourish and enjoy the life she has deserved from the beginning!

Approximate Birthdate:  May 2011

Adoption Fee: $150.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a  two week trial  .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
