Hi, my name is Pepperjack and I'm a spunky 1 year old Rat Terrier/Italian Greyhound mix (at least, that's what my foster humans are guessing). I'm all about having fun!! I LOVE to play with my toys and my foster brothers all day and eventually tire myself out (especially after chasing my tail round and round) and curl up in my mom's lap. I'm definitely still a puppy as I like to drag my foster mom's shoes (and anything else that looks fun) around the house. I'm a good boy and have been working so hard on learning to potty outside and I think I have it mastered! I'm also a perfect boy in my kennel.
My previous home didn't understand what having a puppy meant, so I didn't learn a lot of things I was supposed to. I'm still nervous about stairs and being on a leash. You'll need to be patient with me and help me learn these things (my foster parents have been doing a good job, but I'm still a little skittish). I need a home with another dog to play with and to continue teaching me how to be a good dog. I would do best in a home that has no kids or kids over 10 as I'm a little nervous around lots of energy and prefer to not be picked up too often.
My foster parents think I'm the cutest little spitfire and love it when I snuggle and give kisses... will you let me snuggle with you too?

Adoption Fee: $150.00
TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a
two week trial

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed. Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
