This is Roxy. She is what we believe a German Shepherd, Rottweiler mix. She is spayed and is about 2-3 years of age. She is very sweet, has quite a bit of energy and seems to do fairly well on her housetraining. Roxy knows how to sit and is very treat motivated. Although Roxy hasn't been tested with other dogs or cats we believe she would do just fine as she has a very good temperament. We can, however, test her with other dogs and cats upon request. Sometimes ROxy likes to jump on people and she doesn't know her own strength, this might be a problem for younger children but this behavior is always something that can be worked on as well. Roxy does have a current Rabies vaccine and has been given her canine distemper and bordetella vaccinations here at the shelter along with a dewormer. Her heartworm status is unknown at this time.
Roxy will have an $80 adoption fee that will cover her vaccinations given here at the shelter and the dewormer. This fee does NOT cover the cost of her heartworm test, this additional fee is paid for by the adopter directly to the vet clinic.
