Marcus is a young pup that is energetic, loving and well-behaved. He keeps his paws on the floor during greetings. Whines to be let outside for potty times. He needs a happy, fun, active family that will continue to help him gain confidence that was taken from him somewhere along the way. He is learning that hands bring food, scratches and loving touches. He gets nervous in the car but just lays quietly on the floor panting which creates some drool - poor baby, it's okay. He allows people to pick him up but they have to peel him from the floor as his fear is strong BUT the more he learns only good things are happening the better he will get!  He's learning to chase a ball and play. He likes all people and dogs and would love a family with a canine sibling to play with.  Marcus is about 6 months old and should be around 50 pounds when fully grown.

Adoption Fee: $150

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
