This little girl was surrendered to a small shelter in rural MO.  She was petrified in the shelter, it was heartbreaking. It took her a few days to come out of her shell and learn to trust, but since then, she has become confident and comfortable around her foster family.

Appletini is a great sized dog. She's short and has a long body, like a Corgi or Dachshund, a wiry multi-color coat of fur, the most adorable little face and one ear that flips over. She hasn't shown much interest in toys, but is quite fond of snuggling next to her humans.

Little miss is a bit territorial of food and her favorite people. She would do best in a home with submissive dogs, no cats, or no other pets. We haven't seen Appletini around small children, but she does amazing with older children/teenagers.

Adoption Fee: $150.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a  two week trial  .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
