Lilly is a sweet 9 to 10 year old JRT/Chi or Italian Greyhound/Rat Terrier ( our best guess :) ) who weighs approx. 20 lbs.  She does well with other dogs and cats as long as supervised, but her absolute favorite place to be is wherever her people are.  If you want to go for a walk, she'll be by your side; if you want to snuggle, Lilly's your girl.  At night, her place is right beside you, sometimes even under the covers, if you allow that kind of stuff.  :)

The best thing about Lil is that she is used to living in a home environment.  She is a mature lady with sound judgment.  Unlike puppies, Lilly knows the couch, your shoes, eyeglasses are not her chew toys.  She knows night time is for sleeping and day time is for playing and hanging out with her person or people.  She knows that outside is the right place to potty.  When you leave, she will get in her crate (as long as you have a little treat for her :), but she really would love a home where people are around more often and not gone long hours.   Maybe you are newly retired and looking for a fur friend?  Hey, then here is your girl!  :)

Because of Lilly's small stature, we'd like her forever home to be one with either no children or over the age of 12, at least.  If grandchildren or small kids visit, supervision is always best.   

Lilly came into rescue because her former owner failed her and surrendered her to a shelter, but she deserves so much more.  She is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations and heartworm tested negative.
