Boy). Why? I have no gifts to bring, only love. A lot of love. I was found wandering the streets in Ava, MO and taken to the pound. Well, I was the only dog there, but they weren't going to let me stay. I am not sure what that means, but it didn't sound good. The volunteer there took a great liking to me and put my picture on Facebook, 24 hrs before I was supposed to" leave". A rescue team came together, worked a miracle and saved me the next day.
Anyway, I am tall, dark and handsome. I have been told I have gorgeous eyes and both doctors I have seen said I was perfect. I am a very sweet boy who lives with four doggie sisters and I am great with them. Gentle and kind.I have met older children and do fantastic. I will meet some little ones to be sure, but I am pretty sure I can handle them, also. I have been told I may meet some kitties to see what I think of them. Sigh, kittens.
I am housebroken, ride well in a car and know some basic commands. I walk well on a leash. I am very affectionate and responsive. There you have it, I am gorgeous and nice. A combo not often found in a big boy. Apologies to George Clooney, but, dude, I have your act in spades.

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a
two week trial

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed. Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
