Gavin

Hi Tracey It's going really good. John and I worked yesterday, I got off at 1:00. On my drive home I was wondering how our son and Gavin were getting along alone at the house. I was hoping T.J. would at least let him out of his crate. I get home and they are sitting on the floor together in front of the T.V. because Gavin wouldn't get on the couch. Haha! My son tells me that he has fed him and they went on a walk together and he's taken him outside 3 times. Then he wants to know if Gavin can go downstairs to his room with him. Funniest thing ever! Apparently Gavin has never gone down stairs before. Gavin finally got carried down the stairs. So we taught Gavin how to go up and down the stairs now. At first he would go up and down, up and down like hey I'm doing it! Now when he goes past the staircase he will go down and up once just to show that he still can. Needless to say Gavin is fitting right in and my son has found a new buddy. On the down side he is shedding which I know is normal but we are just not accustomed to it yet. So we are trying to manage that and find a way to keep it under control. But no accidents in the house which is great and overall I think we and Gavin are adjusting well.
