Velma

Hi Sherrie! I can't believe it's been 6 months already - but it does also feel like Kiwi (formerly Velma) has been a part of our family for forever! Everything is going great with her, she's an energetic, happy and playful puppy. We love her to death! I don't really have any questions at this time, everything is going so well. So far she knows to sit, play fetch, and she knows that she has a certain spot that she goes "potty" in. Bath time is actually fun for her, and she loves to snuggle. I've got some pictures attached - I'm fortunate enough to work for a company that has "Dog Day Fridays" and Kiwi was able to come into the office with me and experience a day at work with mom! (Which mostly consisted of her making friends with the other dogs in the office, and taking naps in my lap). She loves her brother, Kermit and he loves her. They balance each other's energy out so well, and we're so grateful that they get along the way that they do. A true brother/sister relationship, and they cannot sleep unless they are right next to each other. She still loves to play with our socks, and we are constantly finding them around our apartment in places that she has hid them. Our apartment has a lot of geese outside all the time, and Kiwi has tried chasing them before, though they are much bigger than she is. Loves to go for walks, but sometimes halfway through she will just plop herself down and wait for you to carry her the rest of the way. She has a happy and playful personality and really has brought our family together. We're so thankful to have found her through T.A.R.A. Let me know if you need any additional updates! -Stephanie

Vegas

Viktor

Viktor is doing great, he is such a sweet sweet boy. I am so very lucky to have him as an addition to my family. We are still working on leash training, this seems to be the biggest obstacle for us, but he is eager to learn so I'm sure we will get there soon. When I adopted Viktor he had an ear infection - switching his antibiotics has helped .... he should be good as new before too long.

Velvet

Hey Virginia, Things are going great. We started feeding her in the kennel to show her it’s not a bad place and that seems to have helped out a lot. She is relaxed and extremely happy. She is one of the best behaved dogs I’ve ever been around. She hasn’t had one accident, gotten into anything, or even gotten on the furniture. We are super happy we got her, she fits right in with us. She’s even cuter after a bath it turns out, her coat is extremely soft and shiny once she’s clean. She even sits on command, can’t believe how lucky we got with her! Thanks again! Will

Venus

Mojo is doing so well, she shows us more of her personality everyday. She is getting along well with my other three, for the most part. She loves to antagonize Chloe, the oldest. Shiley and Mojo run around and play all hours of the day. Lily still just looks at her, but Lily is very picky about who she hangs out with. They all sleep on my lap and surround me at night. We found out pretty quickly that she is a climber. We were painting in the bathroom and she climbed the ladder right behind Neil. We are trying to break her of the habit of getting on the counters, refrigerator, and cabinets which is difficult because she loves water. Every time the faucet is turned on she runs from wherever she is to play in the water.
