Smalls

Smalls got adopted to a great family!

Selena

I wanted to give you an update since its been a few days. I have changed her name from Selena to Juniper (June for short). She is doing very well! Her fear of my cat his dissolved into complete adoration--her whole body wags whenever she sees him. He is a little less taken with her but they havent had any issues or run ins. In fact, he woke us up last night so he could boop her on top of her head. We went for a "hike" (the idea of hiking in Kansas requires air quotes) yesterday and she loved it; got super muddy and smelled lots of things. She is going through bones like crazy so Im stock piling those and getting her some that are longer lasting. Everyone shes met has fallen in love with her--my neighbor and my dad are trying to steal her from me. I cant get over how much she loves kids! I feel kind of bad that we dont really have any kids in my family for her to play with but my neighbors kids are with him almost every weekend. Hope you're doing well this week!

Slushie

Slushie is doing great. Shes an awesome dog. No issues at all. Shes adjusting so well. Shes part of the family now. I couldnt imagine my life without her now, shes so good with my boyfriends kids, such a lover and so sweet. Slushie and my guy have really bonded and he immediately fell in love with her. She follows me everywhere; actually us everywhere. Shes actually at my feet right now. I will send you more pics of her soon. These are a couple that we’ve taken so far and got her a no pull harness, so it won’t choke her, ordered. Also, ordering her a new bed, food, and treats too. I can’t thank you enough for letting me adopt her, Im so grateful and thankful for her.

Sissie

Sissy got adopted yesterday! She seems to be settling in well so far!

Sassy

I took Sassy to her new home this evening! Her adopter is a teacher and met her Monday night. She will be the only pet! I sent her gingerbread house with her since she seemed to love it so much. Sassy was still pretty apprehensive exploring her new space. She gave us a good scare as she hid in an opening between a cabinet and the dishwasher for about 20 minutes. I put down some wet food and was about to leave when she poked her head out and headed toward the dish. She gave up her hiding spot and was out when I left!
