Elvis is a sweet, handsome, goofy Hound/Golden Retriever mix. He's a little cautious when meeting new people but warms up quickly especially if there are treats involved. He loves to play with other dogs, rolling over for a belly rubs, long walks and adventures. Elvis does not realize that 80 pounds is really not ideal for sitting on laps but he'll try to convince you! Elvis was surrendered with his mom Annie and is very attached. He is confident and secure when with her and follows her lead on best manners and behavior. He is kennel/house-trained. We are committed to finding them a home together. Please take a look at Annie; do you have room for two loves in your life? They are an awesome pair that know how to keep each other company while you're away from home!

Total Adoption Fee for both Elvis and Annie: $200
TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial .
Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed. Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
