The first thing everyone who meets the Max notices is how docile and well-behaved he is. He seems very anxious to learn. He's docile until the other dogs indicate it's play time or he sees children. At that point, he's all big smiles and flopping big ears as he starts running and tearing back and forth through the yard. 

 He is in excellent condition with a beautiful coat, clipped nails, perfect white teeth and the abundance of energy a puppy should have. Allowed the freedom to structure his day, he will run himself ragged non-stop all day and then fallout for a hard sleep to prepare for the next day's adventures. He is super affectionate and always wants to cuddle as he goes to sleep.

He is GREAT with children and other dogs (no matter the size). He will usually accepts new instructions after one or two repeated instructions. He is fully and properly house-broken and well behaved.

The ideal home for Max would be a home with young children, another pet or with new parents who have the time to harness his seemingly boundless energy and teach him all the stuff he seems very eager to learn.
