Floyd was abandoned in a yard after his owner moved and having lived outside for a year he is really happy to have a warm and soft place to sleep.  Floyd is a very energetic and fun loving little guy.  He loves running and jumping around the yard and playing with toys.  He is a typical terrier and likes to play hide and seek with objects in the yard or by himself.  He is good with other dogs, he doesn't show aggression with them but can his play can be high energy until you remind him to settle down.  He enjoys cuddling, riding in the car, going on walks.  He hasn't been fully tested with cats and has a strong interest in them upon meeting.  He is good with kids, but again has issues with settling down and that can be a challenge to very small children.  He would love to have a home with other dog friends as he gets quite lonely.  He also would love to have a home that can help him learn some manners and tricks.

Adoption Fee: $150.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
