Hi, my name is Cash! I haven't had the best luck but I'm hoping you can change that!  I was born in a shelter in Southern Missouri and it was a sad and lonely place but one day a family came in and took me home and I thought my luck had changed!  I lived with them for almost a year and was the perfect gentleman.  I got along with all my siblings including kids, other dogs, cats and even birds!  I tried my very best to be such a good boy so I couldn't understand why out of the blue one day I found myself back at the scary shelter.  I heard them say I was heart worm positive and they couldn't deal with it.  I'm not sure what that means but it must have something to do with a broken heart because mine was shattered, I still don't understand what I did wrong.

But now I have another second chance! A nice group of people brought me here to Kansas City and promised they would find me a forever home that would love me like I deserve to be loved.  I am so excited!  They are treating me for my heart worms and soon I will be all better and ready to love you with my whole heart. I promise to be the best friend you could ever ask for, come meet me today!

Adoption Fee: $150

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
