This is Finnigan, our new addition! He was found as a stray in western Kansas City, Kansas and was picked up shortly after he was found roaming. T.A.R.A. then took him into care after no one claimed him and fully vetted him. Finnigan is up-to-date on shots and he has been neutered. Upon arrival to T.A.R.A., this little guy had worms but has successfully completed treatment so his tummy is back to normal puppy mode. Even after a rough beginning in his puppy career, Finnigan shows he is ready to take on the world. He is as adventurous as William Cornwallis Harris when he explored the great safaris in Africa. There should be no worries when it comes to Finnigan and other animals, as he gets along with any and all. He simply enjoys playing and romping around, with or without a playmate. Finnigan is also very fond of rope toys and tasty bones with meaty filling in it.
For Finnigan, we would recommend a very active home. He's growing everyday, both in body and mind, so he needs individuals who will be willing to commit to his puppy phase. We would also recommend having another dog and/or kids due to Finnigan's energy level. If that is not the case, a lot of play time and long walks with his humans will fill that void. Potty training and kennel training is almost completed. He does very well if it ends with a treat. Finnigan loves treats but bacon strips and peanut butter definitely wins his heart and tummy. When given a treat, he will either sit, lay down or jump up. He's responding very well to commands and he's a pretty smart pup so please consider this little one if you know you'll give him a good home.
