Bellagio is one lucky boy! His time was almost up at a local animal control center where he was being held after an owner surrender. The vet clinic contacted us asking to PLEASE help him out, and luckily our volunteers stepped up to get this guy a foster home quickly. We have been in-love with him since we got him. This mild mannered young man couldn't be any more sweet. He doesn't know a stranger and loves to expose his belly for belly rubs. Not only is he gorgeous, he is playful, attentive, and will be the best pal. He really shows off  his baking skills with his "air biscuits."  Do you need an extra hand in the kitchen for the holidays? Bellagio is ready to help!

Bellagio is FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) positive.  Cats with FIV often have similar life spans to cats without it. Studies conducted in 2010 and 2022 found that an FIV diagnosis wasn't associated with decreased lifespans. In fact, cats can remain asymptomatic for years or even their entire lives! Although FIV isn't easily transmitted between cats (only through deep bites and not via sharing food and other normal interaction), the risk means that  a FIV positive cat only be adopted into a single-cat household  or a household with other FIV positive cats.   

Bellagio is healthy and has a clean bill of health from the vet!

Adoption Fee: $ 75.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, FIV/FeLV test, and deworming. A two-week trial is included as part of the adoption.

Because we do not know the background of many of our cats, we cannot guarantee exact age or breed.

Adoption centers may not have a volunteer present to open the cat enclosures, and we have foster homes located throughout the KC metro area. Please fill out an application if you'd like to meet this cat.
