Papa Harry found himself homeless when his owner passed away.  Unfortunately, he was left out in the country in rural Missouri where fending for himself and his family was not easy. Some nice ladies were at least feeding and caring for them until they could find a rescue to take them in which we were thankfully able to do!  Papa Harry and his family were all pretty scared when they arrived in KC and it was obvious they had all had a pretty rough go of things before coming to us, they were covered in wounds and scars. But after just a couple of days they were like different dogs!

Unfortunately, we realized Harry's leg was bothering him shortly after we got him and x-rays revealed he had been shot and his hip and leg were basically shattered.  Luckily a surgeon was able to fix most of the damage and he is now as good as new!   Papa Harry is such a sweet, big lug!  He's super handsome and cuddly and loves to play fetch! He can be a little cautious with strangers and while he gets along with most dogs, he does need slow introductions.  He also doesn't mind cats! Papa would love to find his forever family, he promises to be your best friend and protector!
