Good Morning! I wanted to send an update on the girls. Lola (fka Madeira) & Socks (fka Prosecco) are doing very well! Socks just got her new name last night after we decided she is definitely ours! Lola adjusted very quickly, but it is taking Socks a little bit longer... she is starting to adjust slowly but surely. They play with each other like crazy in the evening and give us both a lot of laughs!

Chorizo

Hi Jennifer, I know, that 2 weeks flew by! Charlie (aka chorizo) is doing great! His Dew claw is healing well, we are getting him out and about daily to petsmart and family and friends to be around new people. We feel like he is making progress with his shyness already! We hope to get in some training classes soon. Making baby steps with him and the cats, but I think eventually they will relax and be used to each other. Thanks for checking in! Cayce

Mouse

Mouse spent the night in my spare room and did surprisingly well. I'm used to Buster trying to become one with the wall in a dark corner somewhere anytime something new happens. He was out and about until my husband came home, but it didn't take much to coax him. I noticed that it seems like he's over-grooming an elbow, but I'll keep an eye on it. Since Buster and Suzy knew about the presence of another cat as of last night and no one acted really upset about it, I broke out the catnip this morning. Mr. Mouse found Buster's beloved Pollock fish toy and lost his mind. Suzy wants nothing to do with any of this, so she's sulking somewhere. Anyway, I apologize for the state of my apartment. Unpacking has been a looong process, but I thought I'd share a few pictures, however blurry, of these new twin brothers :)

Millie

Hi Virginia! We made it back, and she did great! Millie definitely preferred my lap, but compromised with her head on my lap. Millie has been amazing on Day 1! She wasn't a big fan of having a bath, but no different than my past dogs. And, did wonderfully in the bathroom when I went to the store to get her some things. She isn't much into eating her dog food right now. She may be holding out for treats. Is there a particular brand or type she is accustomed? She is so incredibly sweet and loving. I can not thank you enough for trusting her in my care. I am overjoyed with having her here!
