I have heard many reasons why people want to get rid of their animal since doing rescue work, but this one was a first. A lady walked in a local vet clinic asking to have her cat euthanized because "he was too friendly"!!!

He wanted too much attention, was too loving, too cuddly, and she did not have enough patience for him... Needless to say, the employees at the vet clinic talked her out of killing the poor cat and offered to take him into a rescue program instead. So "2-Sweet" is now safe and very glad to be given this precious chance to find a home that will appreciate his sweet and affectionate nature this time. He is now in a foster home with many other cats and dogs and doing quite well.

He is FIV positive.
