Rose is a rescue dog I am bringing back to normal after she was chained, no food, water, doghouse with big cracks in it and facing the north.. It was below freezing wind chill and the coldest week in Kansas City..she survived to be taken by animal control, pulled by a rescue group, and handed over to me..she had kennel cough so very bad, worms like I have never seen before, and just skin hanging on bone.


Never had any kindness or warmth, or any creature comforts..but she is bouncing back with all the sweetness, love and tenacity she can muster..I had to carry her for the first few days to go outside, she was so weak and afraid, now she has mastered that and going for short walks without freaking out. I know she will be an excellent partner for the right person..she was saved to be someones special angel dog, you all know what I am talking about.


Rose is good with other dogs, big and little, cats and people. She listens and minds very well. She is almost housebroken, but still hesitant about going outside when bitter cold or snowy due to the fact she was left outside in horrible elements, but she is definitely working on it, progressing every day. Rose is a very loving, loyal and intelligent furkid. She wants her own person very badly. Her biggest enjoyment is to get in my lap and put her head on my chest, besides food of course!
